The full list sorted by name is available at the Ascii Dreams. This year there was fierce mobilization among ToME and ADOM players. Ultimately the former won despite ADOM taking lead for a time.

no way TomeNET got 133 votes without double voting. Maybe 40 people in the world play that game and I doubt they all came out to vote. People must’ve thought it’s the new version of ToME.

Way more than 40 people have tried to best me in TomeNet. Not many of them have.

Regarding TomeNET, despite only few players playing on the official online server simultaneously, the number of accounts created on the main online server is actually in the 5-digit range and the number of players who play it “offline” or in their own LANs with friends is actually *much* higher than the number of online players.
A friend of mine (who doesn’t play TomeNET but knows I’m involved in it) once visited a Linux convention in Berlin and called me on his mobile when to his suprise the people standing next to him were talking about the latest TomeNET release. 😉 One of those wtf moments..
